FRL System

To ensure optimal working conditions for the GLOBE Air Motors, the air supply must be dry, filtered and lubricated. A 64 micron or finer air filter is recommended. The Globe air motors should be lubricated sufficiently. A FRL system is a combined unit used to clean, control, and condition air before it reaches the motor. 

FRL stands for:

• Filter (F): Removes solid debris (dust, rust) and liquid condensation (water, oil) from the compressed air to prevent internal tool damage.
  
• Regulator (R): Controls and stabilizes the downstream air pressure to match the exact working level required by your equipment. 
  
• Lubricator (L): Releases a fine, controlled mist of oil into the air stream to reduce friction between moving parts in air-driven motors.

A Good FRL System extends the lifetime of the motor by reducing wear and tear on the pneumatic components, lowering long-term repair costs.
